What is A.D. Communications? The Mission. The Goal.
Since 1997, the organization known as A.D. Communications has been addressing Conferences, Churches and Colleges throughout the United States. These easy-to-understand "live" multimedia presentations focus on evidence for the Bible from Archaeology and confronting Bible Skeptics in the popular culture and academia (TV, other Media's, Liberal Educators). Providing Scriptural/Scientific answers to Churches and Schools in defense of the Judeo-Christian faith is the ongoing focus of A.D. Communications.

Why You Should Invite A.D. Communications to your Church and School?

1) No other national ministry supplies the quality of information you need to defend your faith. Thoroughly Researched and ALWAYS current.

2) A.D. Communications supplies 3D animations of specific sites of interest. Not vague nor generalized reproductions of artifacts and locations that are seen on television. ALL animations are based upon architectural drawings of digs or specific eyewitness accounts.

3) Thoroughly researched backgrounds of Bible Skeptics (Celebrity and Academic) and what they believe.

4) A.D. Communications DOES NOT use speculation or the sensational as part of its presentations as some organizations do. Facts and Theories are stated as such in the presentations. A.D. Communications does not set out to "prove" the Bible, it can stand on its own merits. A.D. Communications provides "support" for the Bible as a distinction.

5) Easy-to-Understand Presentations with term sheets provided so that the Student or Congregant can use them for quick reference during
the presentation.

6) Multiple Q&A > After each section a Q&A session can be requested. Typically questions go unanswered if they are not.immediately asked.

7) Information Packets provided (This must be requested)> (Who are the Skeptics, Bible Artifacts pictures, Reliable Sources of Information, Who Are the Christians in Hollywood, Good Movies & Books, TV Viewer Guides). An additional cost will be required for printing costs depending upon quality and quantity of packets.

8) All Presentation Topics can be customized for your Church or School (no extra charge).

9) Affordable > Prices are negotiable between parties. It is the policy of A.D. Communications to not address a group of less than fifty persons. If a local Church or School in the Twin Cities area invites A.D. Communications, basic costs must be met. National Speaking Engagements will require transportation/room and board costs plus a minimum donation to the ministry. Basic Rate

What is Hollywood vs. The Bible?
Hollywood versus The Bible is a new addition to the ministry. In recent years, the respect for people of faith has turned from high opinion to disdain. A film on the life of Jesus in the 1950's carried some degree of acknowledged respect but today a new type of history is presented. These new historians (Hollywood and Documentary writers) have decided that only one view is the correct view (the liberal perspective) and the elimination of the conservative point of view is an absolute necessity.

Cable Stations such as A&E, The Learning Channel, The Discovery Channel, The National Geographic Channel and The History Channel have broadcast documentaries on the lives of not only Jesus but Job, Mary, David, Noah, Samson, Joseph and many others on a monthly basis. These documentaries typically interview academic liberals and rarely give the academic conservatives a voice. People such as David Vanderhooft, C. Lyon Batton, Alan Dundes, Paula Frederickson and the infamous John Dominic Crossan (Jesus Seminar) are the typical interviewees. Unfortunately, many viewers take their words as the viewpoint of all biblical scholars and that is tragic.

What the typical viewer does not know is that there are organizations such as NEAS (The Near East Archaeological Society), ABR (The Associates for Biblical Research and IBA (The Institute for Biblical Archaeology) that are run by credentialed, conservative archaeologists but these organizations are rarely contacted by the press or producers of these programs. Why is this the case? The cable stations have an agenda and that is to discredit the Bibles historical reliability and present that belief unopposed.

What I am trying to do with this ministry is to expose these programs for what they are, a biased and one-sided scholarly interpretation of the Bible and provide answers to Churches and Schools in response to Skeptical opinions. Rumor has it that Bible Skeptics have been hurt by the Church or their parents forcing "religion" on them or a presumed unanswered prayer. Does that sound funny, bizarre or a simplified explanation? Some Scholars have given one of the above reasons for their denial of the Bible. Their contempt for the Bible has absolutely nothing to do with a lack of evidence.

Hollywood vs. The Bible > Documentaries and The Animated Series
Many Skeptic Documentaries include the usual suspects such as John Dominic Crossan (DePaul University), Carole Fontaine (Andover Newton Theological School), Daniel Smith-Christopher (Loyola University), William Dever (Arizona University), Author Walter Zanger and C. Lyon Batton (University of California) and many more. If lucky, the Conservatives will get representatives such as Edwin Yamauchi (Miami University) or William Shea (formerly of Andrews University) to express their views but this is rare.

Another reason I started this series of presentations was to expose the idea that satire is harmless. The animated series' The Simpson's, The Family Guy and South Park lash out with regular verbal attacks against the Bible. These animated series' have expressed ideas such as the view that God is Evil, the Bible is the worlds greatest sleeping pill, God is my favorite fictional character, or develop an entire episode (The Simpson's) where the Bible stories are mythologized. A simple chuckle or grin should be the least of our reactions to this nonsense. It seems to me that under the guise of "satire" many writers and performers are expressing their true emotions about their religious upbringing rather than just simply lending their talents to various programs. It is either this conclusion or that the writers and performers are living in willful ignorance of what the Bible truly says. The producers, writers and voice talent assume that a biblically illiterate society will laugh along and many do in ignorance.

Those in the field of Archaeology have also expressed the same discontent with their religious or political bias' upbringing. One of my former Professors asked a famous archaeologist why he denied the Bible' historical merits, one assumes he would've given some strong scientific diatribe against the Bible but he replied that it was because his parents forced him to attend Church when he was young. It is very possible that those that deny the Bible's historical merits aren't being honest with the public nor with themselves and perhaps need family counseling sessions to get over the stern but well intentioned conduct of Mommy and Daddy.
